*User Tip, When getting ready to use your cooler, start out with the cooler in a cool location before filling it with ice for the trip. We generally bring our smaller coolers in the house the night before to cool down in the summer months, prior to filling with ice. This helps the ice last longer, even in extream hot weather. The larger coolers we put in our shop the night before, which is generally 20 degrees cooler in the extream heat of summer. Generally, start with a cooled-down cooler will help your ice last much longer.
