A pitched, lapped roof covers the roost, and a metal hanging loop on the backside of the house enables placement on a post or against a wall. The flat base allows it to attach to a pole with a mounting bracket (not included) for a different display.
 
A side panel may be unlocked by turning a small metal bar and lifted for placement of twigs and leaves, creating additional hiding spots within.
